My visit to El Paso, Texas had me looking closely at the desert plants. This wispy one caught my eye….using my Samsung Galaxy III….found out the name of this is Apache Plume

  17. Your Samsung images never fail to amaze me. Just another 6 months before I will upgrade my cell phone [at which time I will want to pick your brain about the app(s)]. The top image is, well, van Gogh-like. How cool is that!!

  24. The original of the plant is interesting, such an airy desert plant. The added texture and artistic effects are fabulous! I like them both but the orange one is more surreal. I like your closing sentiments, too.

  25. hi Laurie, It’s me again. What Galaxy app did you use for these??? Samsung is up to Galaxy 6 now…is it safe to assume that the newer models retain the same apps as the III? Cheers, Stan
