  3. Growing up there was a wall of forsythia that would bloom beautifully in spring. Really like the abstract squares and colors.

  5. I love forsythia. It is one tenacious bush! We had one in our front yard when I was growing up. They repaved the road and raised it three feet. That much soil and more was dumped on our yard, burying all the plants… but, come spring, three twigs of forsythia forced their way to sunlight. The damned thing ended up being about five feet high and is still blooming, forty years after I moved away! So yay for the survivors, right?! See, I really loved this one, Laurie. xo Amy

    Hi this is my first encounter with your blog . I have been following alphabet Thursday for a long time but only once managed to complete the whole 26 letters
    I have been away from blogging for a while but now trying to catch up and keep up see you again
    I love this plant I also love it when I find fellow Christians in Blog land
