  1. Very creative. The one looks like an oil painting. What a clever way of making an oil painting, just one click.

  2. I always enjoy playing ‘identify the filter’ on your posts. Your “magic app” seems to be some sort of edge detect filter, and the top one looks like sobel edge detect. s for sobel!

  3. oooo, I love these! Very creative!

  4. Love the second edit! Congrats on your new blog – exciting, isn’t it!

  14. I love going with my wife to the yarn shops. Now I can see the possibilities!!

  15. Fascinating! Am I too realistic to like the third photo best? Or is it old age?
Anyway thanks for your post, your visit and nice comment!

  16. Very clever. I like all three, but the middle one has nice warm colors and that deep light texture that makes it look like heavy cord.

  17. I don’t know why, but the top photo makes me think of talking heads.

  18. Laurie! Loved this photomeme! Your effects on the second shot look multi-dimensional. I love how the new digital age has ushered in endless possibilities for photography, while eliminating the nasty chemicals for film development. Yeah, I know there are purists, and many who shoot analog and convert to digital eventually, but I very much enjoy the efforts of truly artistic photographers like you. Peace, Amy

  19. Another home run for your Galaxy III. Still, it was the artist making the right choices…kudos.

  20. What a creative idea! I really like it.
