I enjoy having access to a prairie I can ride my bike to. This shot is when the sun was setting. Using my Samsung Galaxy III and fun with various apps.

  1. That’s a great silhouette – I also love having nature nearby.

  2. Dear Laurie that’s are two wonderful artworks of your capture!

    Wish you a nice Weekend.

  3. You take amazing pics with your phone!

  4. Add another one to your future exhibit! The middle image is my choice. It is extraordinary how you can convert a somewhat ‘pedestrian’ image into a glorious work of art.

  5. Love the editing in the second frame…incredible!!

  6. The second photo with the curvy effects reminds me some of a van Gogh painting, I love the distortion and the starry sky.

  7. havn´t seen this before. The distorted images. Looks great. 🙂

  8. the original is gorgeous on it’s own, but I really love the second one. Great edit.

  9. That was a cool angle you took that shot from and what you did with that first alteration is amazing. Blessings!

  17. This time, I liked the original shot the best, the shadows and silhouette. I, too, enjoy the prairie around here in Madison. The grasses, how they sway in the breeze; the sound of waterfowl on the marshes… Amy

  18. That is a great straight photo by itself. And I just loooove your first edit. That background, like glass in waves is awesome. Which app did you use to get this result?
Thank you for linking it with s~A(R)T~urday

    • Laurie Kazmierczak

My Pixlr app has a geometric background which I applied first, then I used PicsArt for the Swirled effect under distortions…

      • Thank you, Laurie. I heard of Pixlr, but don’t have it and I have not heard about PicsArt before. I will check them out.

  19. Wow. Breathtaking pictures and poetry

  20. The second piece has me thinking of underwater fun, while the third one thinks party!

  21. How wonderful! I love both the original photo as well as the enhanced images.

  22. Beautiful image. I really like the second one.

  23. I love these!

The middle one reminds me so much of Starry Night!

You are Just so clever at these photo manipulations!
