Spotted this three to four foot fellow as he tried to cross a fairly busy road, so I waited in my postal truck until he was safely across.  

Not knowing what kind of snake it was, I snapped a photo and did an Image search on Google and found it to be a Fox Snake, non-venomous  and protected…so nice to have such immediate info♫

  1. All of those are lovely images, but my favourite is the ‘multiple exposure’ shot.

    Very cool!! I’m glad you waited for this little guy. And yes, it is nice to be able to ID something so quickly!

    Although to be honest I’d pick snakes over cockroaches any day of the week.
