rushing roar through woods

crevice of flotsam
The overlook to Nairn Falls, BC had me noticing the cornered scrap wood directly below me. I snapped it without really looking closely until I got home…

The trapped wood is a little disconcerting, but when you touch it with soft colors you can almost see the movement and with it the chance of escape. These are so very interesting, Laurie. Your Haiku says it all …

Beautiful post.

That looks dangerous!

Isn’t it interesting what we can make out of scraps? The falls are beautiful. I’ve always wanted to visit BC.
I know your result is not supposed to represent any real objects, but the mind sees what it wants to see in most abstracts. What I saw was a person in an old fashioned diving suit with a large round headpiece and rectangular view window —especially in the inverted version with the blue “window” —with the body all tangled up in seaweed or debris and breathing hoses. I even see a hand on the right side. That’s the first thing I thought of and the image won’t go away.

I have similar images I still have not used. Maybe it is time. I liked yours.

funny what CJ said. I thought it looked like an astronaut or diver.
That is a fun thing about photos. Sometimes you discover new things when viewing later on the computer.

I also thought it was an astronaut at first!
