Since I do all my edits on my Samsung Galaxy III, I thought I would list the ones I use the most…I think I actually paid for 3 of them for their full effects.
I will go back and forth between apps until I am satisfied with the results.

Paper Artist…has the oil paints
Pixlr…has the silk textures and a good variety of overlays…cosmos
Pixel Artist…overlays and filters
Camera Effects…planet overlay, lightening
Camera MX…I like the random button
PicShop…I use the embossed for a finishing touch
Photo Painter…new one I’m still exploring
PicsArt…I like the cropping, fonts, & community

  6. Three different interesting effects. The first one has me thinking of science fiction stories. Thanks for listing your apps. I use Photoshop, but I’d like to expand my horizons and find something that’s less cumbersome.

  7. That top pic is my favorite.

  9. o, wow, that was some nice apps 🙂 I like all three of them in different ways. 🙂

  10. Thanks Laurie! Guess I missed this — as it was not in OYGIF. I love the two lower effects!! Looking forward to your further posts. Would you consider, in the future, occasionally indicating the app you used for a given image [assuming it was only one]? Cheers, Stan
